So excited for you Maddie - and completely relate to reading all the "thinking" books about finding purpose in a career and life and not finding them helpful! It's got to be a feeling - my goal is to get paid to do work I love and that I'd do whether I got paid or not. So get, I've achieved the loving my work part - still to pull off the money part! So proud of you and can't wait to hear what happens next! ❤️💪

I'm reading a great book by Bruce Feiler right now called "The Search," which is all about finding meaningful work. He interviewed thousands of people and found that many of them have what he calls "hope jobs"—work that doesn't make (much) money now, but that each person hopes will grow into something in the future. So I think we're in great company there!

We need to talk Maddie as this year has been very revealing to me in terms of the journey you described. Be sure to check out the book “The Great Work of Your Life@ by Stephen Cope if you haven’t already. Highly recommend.

you never fail to make me smile with these. this is just brimming with sparks and i can't even pick a favourite sequence! though, i will say how wonderful it is to see the quotation on flames and it's undercurrent in your evolving story. excited to hear your news! <3

If I've made you smile, I'd call that a big success! And I absolutely love your point about the flames—it's so true that fire can burn things down, but it can also warm them up. Love the duality there! 😂
