I’ve missed you so much, Susan…and I’ve been so busy with bakery life and my commute this summer that I’m severely overdue in calling you! My brother is keeping the WA house safe…and I wish I would’ve had the forethought to book my travels through Honeoye 😭
Congratulations! I am curious to learn whether the internship is similar to an apprenticeship. Do you have a defined period of time for it? Will it potentially lead to a certification of some type or to more structured role at the same bakery?
Jeanne, these are such great questions! While it won’t lead to a formal role at this bakery, and doesn’t carry any certification with its completion, I suppose it’s like an apprenticeship in that I’ll be learning directly from my more experienced coworkers. I’m so excited!
