Totally aligned with talking to strangers. On my last hiking trip through Ontario’s Lion’s Head, we came across a lovely couple who were just completing a three-week hiking/camping trip around Lake Superior and gave us all kinds of amazing ideas and recommendations.
And if anyone has FOMO, it's me—you live in such a beautiful country! My boyfriend and I were trying to figure out how to attain Canadian permanent residency during our vacation. 😂

I LOVE picking out a regular spot when I’m on vacation. For me, it’s the main way to really get a feel for a place and the people that inhabit it. Plus it’s so fun chatting up the people that work there! 🙏

wow i never thought of a vacation hobby! i think mine is sketching, altho I do it on mini-vacations here in my city too. I always like to have a consistent thing to travel with - a scent for the pillow, or certain music or an eye mask. helps me feel at home wherever i am.
